Q: What brands of makeup and hair products do you use on your clients?
We customize our makeup routine for each of our clients, so it depends on your skin type, skin conditions, and your skin tone. All of the hair and makeup products that we use are luxury high-end professional brands that were designed to give long lasting results and photograph beautifully. Some brands we carry in our kit include Chanel, YSL, Armani, Laura Mercier, Shu Uemura, Bobbie Brown, Makeup Forever, NARS, Smashbox, Benefit, Hourglass, Anastasia, Urban Decay, Motives Cosmetics (just to name a few). For airbrushing, we use Temptu.
Some of our favorite brands of hairstyling products include Redken, Sebastian, Kenra, Big Sexy Hair, and Schwarzkopf.
Q: Are there any preparations needed for getting my hair and makeup service on my wedding day?
Work Station: Please have tables and chairs ready with adequate lighting to perform the makeup services. We recommend you wear a buttoned down shirt, bridal robe, or anything you don't have to pull over your head.
Hair: Wash your hair the night before without conditioner and dry well completely. If you prefer to wash hair daily, it would be best to have your hair completely dry before our makeup team arrives on site. Have photos of desired bridal makeup look and hairstyles will always be helpful.
Face: Should be cleansed with a daily skincare system. Please state any allergies pertaining to any makeup products to your stylist before the service.
Gratuity: Though not expected nor required, it is greatly appreciated and can be given to your stylists directly.
Remark: Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
Q: Is a deposit/retainer or contract required to hold my wedding day?
Yes, a signed bridal contract and a minimum of $400 deposit are required in order to reserve your date. Be advised that no date will be reserved until the contract has been signed and the retainer has been paid. Wedding service prices are subject to change without notice unless a signed contract and deposit have been received. The retainer will be put towards your final bill and it is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Q: How far in advance should I book you?
The best time to secure the wedding day would be 6 to 9 months prior to the wedding day.
